A small Village, Elangadu (kukkiraamam) near Thirukattupalli, on the banks of Cauvery near Kallanai-Thiruvaiuaru road. I had an unique participation to day i.e. Hayagrevar Homam performed for the benefit of children - going to schools, writing their final exams this year and also the welfare/wellbeing of all. I was surprised to see the enthusiastic participation of almost all the residents of that village. The priest while performing the Homam had explained for each slokas the importance of it, and why it should be recited in that manner in a simple tamil, that can beunderstood by all.. The Homam had started at 8.00 am and purthi was around 2.0 PM. so one can guess the meticulous pains taken by the Priests/ organizers viz. Sri Kannan Trust of Elanngadu village. I shall be uploading the selected videos of the function for the benefit of like minded FB members. Thanks to all .
